Have you ever stopped to think about how much of manual bladder irrigation depends on the syringe in your hand?

With traditional methods, that syringe is constantly being connected and disconnected. It pulls from an open basin, pushes into the catheter, empties into another container, and then the cycle starts again. Every switch is another chance for a spill, a splash, or a break in the process.

The Multiphze® Enclosed Bladder Irrigation System was designed by physicians to change that. It starts with a rotatable syringe that stays attached to the urinary catheter from start to finish.

Instead of moving the syringe between containers, clinicians simply rotate it between four clearly labeled positions:

→ OFF: Neutral position, no fluid flow
→ FILL: Draws sterile solution into the syringe from the attached irrigation line
→ IRRIGATE: Moves fluid in and out of the bladder
→ DRAIN: Sends syringe contents directly into the attached 4-liter drainage bag

Each position is marked with easy-to-read icons. The syringe also gives a click you can feel and hear when it locks into each position, so clinicians always know which phase they’re in.

The smaller details matter, too.

The syringe holds up to 120 ml, so more fluid moves with fewer plunger cycles and less hand fatigue. A plunger stopper helps keep the plunger from accidentally pulling out. An in-line check valve guards against backflow into the irrigation line, and a barbed connector creates a secure, leak-resistant seal between the line and the syringe. The kink-resistant, DEHP-free tubing keeps fluids flowing even when it bends.

Together, these features turn a process that once relied on open containers and repeated disconnections into one controlled, enclosed workflow. Fill, irrigate, and drain, all through a single connection.

Multiphze puts control back in the clinician’s hand: one syringe, four positions, and a cleaner way to irrigate.
